Meet Annie & Liga
Bula and Noa’ia ‘e mauri.
My name is Annie Gukisuva and I hail from Islepi, Juju, in the beautiful island of Rotuma.
For twenty-two years, I married my business partner and co-Founder of Sixth Sense Pte Limited, the late Mr. Liga Gukisuva whose father was from Vanuavatu in Lau and mother from Sila, Cuvu in Nadroga. We have a beautiful daughter and two gorgeously humble sons whom we have introduced to our event styling & management business.
The late Mr. Liga Gukisuva and I have worked in the telecommunication industry for more than 15 years. After working for a certain number of years in the corporate entity, we wanted to challenge our capability and try something new. Why not start a company that we can easily handover to our children and for them to continue the work that we do? It also gives us an opportunity to push the boundary of what we can do; bringing two individuals together, expertise in our own profession and capitalising on our strengths.
For us, we have reached that stage where we start to get too comfortable in our work environment so our thinking cycle start to become stagnant. The only way for us to learn something new is to try out something new which was starting a business and taking the journey there on.
We acknowledged our strong combination in project management, creativity & our natural passion to go beyond and help others by creating a unique experience that reflects their personality and brand. We decided to take a risk and become entrepreneurs so this is how our family business Sixth Sense Company Pte Limited started.
THE NINJAH BRAND
“Ninjah” was our former Director, the late Liga Gukisuva’s Nickname during his secondary school days in Queen Victoria School. For our Ninjah apparel, we supply customised sports apparel, for corporate and community.
